The MCW-Prevea Green Bay Family Medicine Residency Program offers a well-rounded experience, featuring a wide variety of elective and core rotations such as ICU, dermatology, sports medicine, and more, with the benefit of an unopposed residency at St. Vincent's Hospital. This allows residents to manage interesting cases while working closely with skilled specialists. The program's faculty, including experts in addiction medicine and obstetrics, are dedicated to resident education, fostering a comfortable and collaborative environment. The diverse patient population and excellent work-life balance, with reasonable call schedules and golden weekends, make this program a great place to train, live, and grow as a physician.

Welcome to the MCW-Prevea Green Bay Family Medicine Residency Program!

As a new program established in 2021, we are thrilled to offer a unique and dynamic training experience in the heart of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Our residency is unopposed, providing our residents with broad and comprehensive training in a city that is as beautiful as it is diverse. Our community and our program are growing, and we are excited to invite you to be a part of that growth.

We are actively expanding several key areas of our curriculum, including the development of both inpatient and outpatient addiction medicine training opportunities. In addition, our medical education training curriculum benefits from our close collaboration with students at the innovative Medical College of Wisconsin Green Bay regional campus. We are also expanding our obstetrics, prenatal care, and women’s health programs to meet the needs of our patients. Our residents have the opportunity to provide care to refugee populations and to serve underserved rural communities through specialized rotations.

At the Green Bay Family Medicine Residency, you will not only receive top-tier family medicine training but also have the chance to shape our program’s future. Our residents play a vital role in helping us grow into one of the premier family medicine residency programs in the Midwest.
